What you see as my logo is a dancer abstract. A one of a kind piece of art painted for me by my ballet teacher and lifetime mentor, Frank Ohman.
Sugar Plum Dance Abstract
Frank Ohman is more than just a ballet teacher. His career started with San Francisco Ballet but he soon auditioned for Mr. George Balanchine and joined the New York City Ballet. He quickly became a soloist and after 22 years with the company, he moved out to Long Island where he started the Frank Ohman School of Ballet. Being a lover of all arts, he balanced his creativity with choreography and painting. To this day, he continues to paint beautiful landscapes and his signature "Dancer Abstract" pieces. Simple lines with splashes of color create the movement of dance and combine it with the beauty of art.
If you enjoy his work, he frequently has galleries around Long Island. You can also take a look at the ballet school's website for more information.
