Some kind words...
Anyone can be a doctor, but few have that God given gift to heal. You truly have that gift.
I wanted to send a special thank you your way... Such beautiful work you did for me. Thank you so so much! :)
I would say the treatment you did, that by far gave me the most relief of anything I've had up until that point.
My arm hasn't felt this good in years.
Your treatments are really helping, especially with my neck. I only wish I met you sooner!

Dry Needling: That Means Acupuncture
I found this article and must admit I was extremely angry to learn that this was even an issue. Physical Therapists are trying to argue that "trigger point dry needling," which uses acupuncture needles, isn't acupuncture and that it is within their scope of practice. They are also taking only a brief certification class before performing this service. This is not only unethical, but dangerous. If you wish to seek trigger point dry needling, make sure your practitioner is a LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST. We receive almost 3,000 hours of training, are required to pass national and state board exams, and also have to complete continuing education credits to renew our license. No other "acupuncturist" is as trained and regulated as we are.

The End of an Ice Age
For anyone who has undergone my treatment, you know how passionate I am about avoiding the use of ice. There are two good reasons for this: one, inflammation is your body's natural response to fight infection, so why would we want to prevent that? Two, if ice is stopping the inflammation, it's also stopping blood flow. No blood flow means no nutrients to the injured area and that means you can't properly heal. No blood flow also means stagnation, and stagnation creates pain. Don't believe me? Maybe Dr. Mirkin (the man who coined the RICE acronym) can convince you.

There is a never ending debate when it comes to vaccines. What's important to understand is that just because you've been vaccinated, doesn't mean you're immunized. Translation? Having the vaccine doesn't make you immune, and this is especially true of the flu. Your best way for form immunity to this years flu's and future ones is to catch it. Plus, there are dozens of natural ways to treat an existing flu or strengthen your immunity, including acupuncture, so you don't need the poisons in a vaccine.
It's so important to educate yourself on the pros and cons of vaccines. For more information, visit ProCon.org.
